This exceptional sea lavender is tide turning, thanks to expert breeding which makes it ultra-prolific, long-lasting and much hardier than the more traditional varieties. Even is winter temperatures fall below -25°C, in a free draining soil this resilient perennial will stand its ground and return for a repeat show the following year. Wiry, upright stems support a mass of tiny, papery blooms throughout most of summer. Requiring very little in terms of maintenance, Limonium 'Dazzle Rocks' really is a dream plant.

Not only do the flowers last well in the garden, but they also have everlasting potential in a vase too. Soak your Limonium 'Dazzle Rocks' roots in water for 3-6 hours prior to planting.
Plant your "Sea lavender" bare roots into temporary pots with a multipurpose compost in spring and grow-on in a sheltered spot outdoors.
Choose a pot which comfortably fits the bare roots. Some have a noticeable crown which should be just below the soil surface with any top growth exposed.
Plant out into borders or permanent containers in late spring or early summer once in full growth. Choose a position in sun or shade depending on the variety.
