Lily 'Pretty Woman'

A true giant of the lily world, Lily 'Pretty Woman' is, in our view, a must-have summer plant. It's a towering, giant lily with pure white blooms, each with an apple-green throat, and a soft, sweet fragrance. Even better, each Lily 'Pretty Woman' bulb can give you up to 40 blooms, each one being around 20cm across. Stems can reach 180-250cm in height. Established bulbs return every spring to put on their magnificent display of summer flowers. The leaves are an attractive, strap-shape, glossy and dark green. 

Lilium 'Pretty Woman' is one of an exciting new class of Lilium, known as the oriental × trumpet lilies, often seen as orienpets. Their large blooms carry the perfume of the oriental lily, with the strong growth habit of the trumpet lily. They are all hardy, and highly suited to the British climate. Lilium 'Pretty Woman' is ideal for the back of a sunny border, or a sheltered area against a wall or fence, where it can be left undisturbed. The plant will be fantastic in its first summer, but will reach its full, amazing potential, until its third summer!
