Plant lily bulbs within one to two weeks of delivery, as they dislike drying out. Until planting, keep them somewhere cool, dry and frost-free.
'Mister Cas'
What better way to relax at the end of the day than in the company of a fine profusion of bronzed and balmy flowers with incredible fragrance? In terms of flower power and statement height, Orienpet Lily 'Mister Cas' has it all. Orienpet lilies are a crossing between Oriental and Trumpet lilies, combining the best of both worlds. This stately icon is tall and handsome with creamy-coloured petals which are blushed towards the centre with a beach-at-sunset-orange glow. It looks and smells tropical, it’s easy to grow and hugely rewarding with lots of flowers – what a super hero!
Fast-growing up to 1.2m in height on leafy, strong upright stems, you can look forward to a high-impact display of fragrant blooms which repeat continuously from early to mid-summer. If you want to wow your guests, put a few in pots around the patio and let the fragrance and beautiful flowers do the work. Lily 'Mister Cas' are also great for growing in groups in the border or in narrow spaces. It’s always worth snipping a few of these long-lasting beauties to show off in your home too!

Choose full sun or partial shade with rich, well-drained soil. For containers, use peat-free multipurpose or soil-based compost with added horticultural grit.
Plant bulbs pointed side upwards, 15–20cm deep and 15–20cm apart. Arrange them in groups of three to five for a generous, natural-looking display.
Water after planting, then keep the soil evenly moist once growth appears. Avoid waterlogging, particularly while the bulbs are dormant, and never let containers dry out completely.
Add stakes when planting taller varieties to avoid damaging the bulbs later. Remove faded flowers, but allow stems and foliage to yellow naturally before cutting them back.
