Description
A flurry of flowers this good is difficult to resist, plant Hydrangea 'Skyfall' and let it smatter your garden with its huge, heavenly, cloud-like blooms every summer! Each colossal conical flowerhead is densely packed with star-shaped papery flowers in elegant white, tinged with fresh lime-green. Growing to around 1.2m with a bushy, dense habit once established, it will fill a border space with jaw-dropping beauty through the summer months. Hydrangea 'Skyfall' is strong too, with sturdy stems that hold up those stellar blooms well. Thriving in sun or partial shade, enjoy it as a stand-out specimen in a border or, if you have the perfect stretch of space for them, why not plant a full row along a pathway – you’ll feel like you’re ambling through clouds!
Give Hydrangea paniculata 'Skyfall' a prominent place in the garden or terrace, where its enchanting starry petals can be admired up close. For sheer flower power, it is hard to beat, and it will capture attention in beds and borders, lining driveways or pathways, flanking the front door or illuminating partially shaded areas under trees or larger shrubs. Its white blooms make for great contrasts against the greens of the garden, looking dramatic against a dark green hedge for example, or mixed with blue and purple flowering plants for smart and classic-looking display. Don’t forget that the blooms of Hydrangea 'Skyfall' can also be dried and used to create everlasting flower arrangements to brighten up the home in winter.

Useful information
-
Soak your Hydrangea 'Skyfall' roots in water for 3-6 hours prior to planting.
Plant your "Hortensia" bare roots into temporary pots with a multipurpose compost in spring and grow-on in a sheltered spot outdoors.
Choose a pot which comfortably fits the bare roots. Some have a noticeable crown which should be just below the soil surface with any top growth exposed.
Plant out into borders or permanent containers in late spring or early summer once in full growth. Choose a position in sun or shade depending on the variety.
