Description
Hydrangea 'Mojito' brings all the freshness of its cocktail namesake—minus the hangover. This distinctive panicled hydrangea features narrow, deep green leaves with fine serrations that frame large, conical clusters of flowers in cool lime and blush pink. The blooms of Hydrangea 'Mojito' begin in soft, minty green tones in midsummer, gradually blushing as they mature, creating a refreshing, ever-changing display that feels perfectly timed for long, warm days. The combination of pale green and pink is surprisingly sophisticated, lending a calm, cooling presence to borders and patio containers alike.
Compact yet exuberant, Hydrangea paniculata 'Mojito' maintains a naturally tidy shape, making it ideal for small gardens or as a highlight in mixed plantings. Its blooms last for months, holding both their colour and structure beautifully into autumn, when the lime tones deepen and take on warm, rosy tints. Whether grown in full sun or dappled shade, this variety is remarkably resilient and dependable. Combine Hydrangea 'Mojito' with ornamental grasses, hostas or ferns for a lush, textural planting that feels effortlessly balanced. Like its namesake drink, it’s crisp, refreshing and just a little bit indulgent—proof that even the most relaxed plants can make a seriously stylish statement.

Useful information
-
Soak your Hydrangea 'Mojito' roots in water for 3-6 hours prior to planting.
Plant your "Panicled hydrangea" bare roots into temporary pots with a multipurpose compost in spring and grow-on in a sheltered spot outdoors.
Choose a pot which comfortably fits the bare roots. Some have a noticeable crown which should be just below the soil surface with any top growth exposed.
Plant out into borders or permanent containers in late spring or early summer once in full growth. Choose a position in sun or shade depending on the variety.
