Description
Take all the flower power that paniculata hydrangeas have to offer, then condense in a small space and you have something remarkably gorgeous for your garden - Hydrangea 'Little Fresco'. A gorgeous and compact little shrub, this hyadrangea might be just the artistic inspiration your garden needs in the summer months. With its large and showy conical-shaped flowerheads which are generously packed with papery individual flowers, it paints a fantastic picture in the garden that is both charming and long lasting, through summer and often well into autumn each year. The colour-changing blooms of Hydrangea 'Little Fresco' are such a spectacle, starting off a rich creamy white, then developing a fresh apple-green tinge, before maturing into a pretty pink hue as the season progresses.
Growing to just 70cm tall or so, Hydrangea paniculata 'Little Fresco' is a little delight which is perfect for showing off in a container or a low maintenance option for smaller border spaces. This shrub looks great on its own, or go for total wow-effect by planting them in groups or swathes. A paniculata variety, after it establishes a good, strong root system it will bear generously-sized flowers on good, sturdy stems. Happy in full sun or partial shade, and tolerant of most soil types, Hydrangea 'Little Fresco' is a hard working plant that will keep on giving each summer and you can look forward to watching it gradually establish in your garden. The show just gets better every year!

Useful information
-
Soak your Hydrangea 'Little Fresco' roots in water for 3-6 hours prior to planting.
Plant your "Hortensia" bare roots into temporary pots with a multipurpose compost in spring and grow-on in a sheltered spot outdoors.
Choose a pot which comfortably fits the bare roots. Some have a noticeable crown which should be just below the soil surface with any top growth exposed.
Plant out into borders or permanent containers in late spring or early summer once in full growth. Choose a position in sun or shade depending on the variety.
