Description
This colourful flower Homeria syn.Morea breyniana is a native to Southern Africa, blooming in the wild there during the summer months. Coming from Africa, Homeria breyniana likes the sun and starts flowering at the peak of the summer season, continuing to flower for a few weeks. As a South African it is not used to very cold conditions and shortly after the flowers have faded, the leaves will die and by September it’s probably time to remove the tubers for storing till next year.
