Description

One of the hardier gladioli nanus variety, Gladiolus 'Prins Claus' doesn’t stop with just being a little tougher than his kinsmen. He is so unusually marked and designed he will immediately show he’s of different stock. Nanus gladioli are a dwarf variety, reaching only about 70cm (just over two foot in height) and are stronger and straighter than their taller brethren. They present their multiple blooms more freely, lifting individual orchid-like flowers off the spike with short thin stems, instead of forming the tightly packed-spires of other gladioli. Gladiolus 'Prins Claus' uses his opportunity to show off to their best advantage his pure white flowers with their petals marked with lipstick kisses of raspberry red!
