Galanthus nivalis

'Flore Pleno'

double snowdrops

Whether you call them 'Galanthus' or 'Snowdrops', they’ll be just as pretty. But what about double snowdrops – Galanthus nivalis 'Flore Pleno'? Are they really twice as nice? That’s up to you to decide, but whatever you eventually conclude, you’ll derive great pleasure from these beauties with their frilly rosettes of green and white petals nestled at their hearts. As reliable as their simpler sisters, double snowdrops (also known as 'Flore Pleno' snowdrops) bring perennial rewards without needing any special attention.

To enjoy their intricate blooms to the full, raised beds and rockeries are best, but you can always cut some blooms for flower arrangements and admire them to your heart’s content indoors.
