Description
Dahlia 'Red and White Fubuki' will cause you to do a double-take. You'll first notice the dramatic deep strawberry red colour of its perfect petals, as well as the petal tips that are individually dipped in a rich cream-white. Then, you'll want to look closer and notice that the petal tips are fimbriated, or split, which gives the flower an almost fluffy appearance. The flowers of dinnerplate dahlia 'Red and White Fubuki' are large, and are at their best from midsummer until autumn. They are set off beautifully by attractive, toothed, dark green leaves.
Growing to around 120cm in height, Dahlia 'Red and White Fubuki' will be a stunning addition to any sunny border or large patio container. Oh, and of course, the flowers are fantastic for cutting. Just clip a few of these bountiful beauties to bring the joy indoors.
