Description
Perfect your dahlia patch with the breathtaking blooms of Dahlia 'Peaches'. This is an unbelievably pretty and perfect peachy-hued dahlia, it’s impossible not to be absolutely besotted when those buds burst and these intricate petals show themselves in summer. A gentle but eye-catching bloom due to its white-tipped petals which define the fascinating whorled petal formation, the base of each petal is the shade of a misty sunrise sky. 'Peaches' by name for its colour of course, you’ll want a generous helping of these because this dahlia is a feast for the eyes indeed. The mouth-watering, fruity tones of Dahlia 'Peaches' fruity are approximately 8-10cm across and are perfect for picking and bringing inside.
When cut, they produce new flowers soon enough, so go ahead and snip away! In the garden it thrives in full sun and partial shade in a moist, free-draining soil. Growing to approximately 1m, Dahlia 'Peaches' looks exquisite in a border among perennials or stands it ground amidst your dahlia patch. Why not plan a floral fruit bowl and combine this with other fruity favourites like 'Penhill Watermelon', 'Totally Tangerine' and 'Cranberry Classic'.
Dahlias were originally classified as a vegetable because of their edible tubers. Bon appetit!
