Description
Let Dahlia 'Kogane Fubuki' blizzard in your border like a golden snowstorm (which is what its Japanese name translates to!). With shaggy petals it does have a fractalesque appearance, but this variety is certainly no snowflake. It's gutsy and determined, flowering all summer long in glowing ember tones. You can enjoy a continuous flurry of flowers which emerge in a gorgeous golden shade, before developing a lip-smacking rhubarb hue. The slow transformation is a frenzy of colour to see you through summer and into autumn!
Growing to around 90cm tall, Dahlia 'Kogane Fubuki' sits happily in a border or large patio container. It makes an impact from a distance and, when you're drawn in for a closer look, you won’t be disappointed. The melange of colour, the petal shape, the flower form—there are just so many details to take in! This dahlia mingles beautifully with summer darlings such as echinacea, Japanese anemones and Verbena. Plant Dahlia 'Kogane Fubuki' alongside other dahlia varieties, nestled between leafy cannas, ginger or eucomis for a deliciously exotic flavour!
