This spiky wonder is actually one of the ever-popular collarette dahlia varieties – lean in to appreciate its beauty and you’ll see a tell-tale frilly ruff of delicate lighter petals, surrounding the golden yellow centre.
That perfect pink hue will make itself at home in hot and cool colour schemes alike — and as the long-stemmed blooms are a compact 10cm, Dahlia 'Fancy Pants' lends itself well to picking for posies too. This is a lower-growing variety than many of its dahlia companions, making it ideal for brightening up your pots and planters.
