Crocosmia

'George Davison'

montbretia

It would be a pity to plant these delightful summer bloomers alone, or even in small groups. Let the Crocosmia (montbretia) 'George Davison' run amok in your garden to create the feel of a field out in the country somewhere. Its sword-like bright green foliage will add to that impression as it pushes its way up between the bright yellow-ish orange buds. Crocosmia 'George Davison's buds are really attractive in themselves, even before they open into the cheerful yellow multiple flowers the plant’s long stems carry. Then you will see the true worth of this plant as its landscape of delicate golden blooms dance in the summer breeze with hummingbirds joining in.

Crocosmia 'George Davison' are hardy perennials and flower every year once established. After planting, they will flower from their second year onwards. In the first year they may produce foliage only.
