Description

Introducing a captivating combination to bring intrigue and enchantment to your summer displayfeast your eyes on the magnificent 'Mardi Gras' collection! This fiesta of a pairing combines the rich, velvety purple foliage of Oxalis triangularis with the star-spangled splashiness of Caladium 'Miss Muffet', creating a dramatic duo of contrasting dark and light shades to sensational effect, proving that opposites really do attract!

Each 'Mardi Gras' collection contains:

  • 1 x Caladium 'Miss Muffet'
  • 15 x Oxalis triangularis

The 'Mardi Gras' collection is best grown in a partially shaded position where those jewel-like colours can stay intense and really catch the eye. These fabulous foliage plants will bring a festival vibe to a sheltered spot in your summer garden, and they’re just as happy to splash a whole new level of colour into your indoor jungle throughout the season too.

Remember that Caladiums are tropical and require a period of steady warmth to burst into life. Star both varieties indoors and enjoy watching them wake up, then plant them outside in summer if you wish. Choose a fertile and well-drained compost, go easy on the watering whilst these bulbs are dormant, and you’ll be rewarded with luscious leaves all summer long!

Our Caladium bulbs are cultivated in Florida, USA
