Description
A dwarf variety, Canna 'Louis Cotton' provides a different look for your garden. The unusual bronze-coloured leaves set off the peach and yellow flowers with their orange-red hearts to perfection. These plants will definitely be noticeable in your summer garden when Canna 'Louis Cotton' will bloom from summer through to the first frosts of winter. Louis Cotton only reaches a height of around a metre (39 inch) at most so remains compact and neat in a way taller cannas sometimes don’t. This plant requires well-drained soil and can thrive in either full sun or partial shade. Cannas can be planted close to ponds as they can tolerate certain amount of water, but should be moved to a drier place for the winter.
Gracy tells: Look at the leaves!
"Canna leaves are bold and famous for their tropical look. Most Canna Lily cultivars (like Canna 'Louis Cottin') have rich emerald-green leaves, but some have red to bronze leaves!"
