Description
Callas are a far cry from the lilies most of us are used to. Instead of being frilly and star like, the calla lily’s beauty is in its strong, streamlined flower, a furled funnel-shaped bloom. The Calla Lily 'Purple Haze' is no exception. It’s an artwork of a flower, the swirl of the lily highlighting the vertical change on the sweep of the funnel from deep and dark purple to an almost lime-touched yellow. Most artists dream of creating such a work with a few brush-strokes and such a limited palette.
