Description

Like watercolours applied with a damp brush, the soft pink Calla Lily 'Captain Rosette' paints a softly romantic picture. From a cup of green and cream yellow brushstrokes bonding it to the stem, the gentlest of pinks emerges on the outside of the trumpet-shaped bloom. Inside, radiating upward from the throat is a darker pink, which ever-so-shyly brushes onto the pale lip. Small white dots on the green foliage complete the romantic image. This gentle appeal has made this calla lily popular with florists and gardeners. It blends easily with other pastel blooms, while giving arrangements and bouquets an element of strength. The ability to mix and merge with other flowers, also carries over to mixed borders and containers.

Gracy's gardening tip
"Some Calla Lily varieties (like Captain Rosette) come with an attractive white dotted foliage, giving them even more flair!"
