Description
Just as the depth of a summer romance can deepen as the sunny days pass, so does the colour of the very romantic Calla Lily 'Captain Romance'. Its flower opens shyly, with a soft pink flowing upwards from a green, cream and white bowl. But as the summer sun warms it, the passion in this bloom heats up, too. The furled trumpet will mature to a deep rich pink, touching on purple. Held up over the white-speckled leaves by a sturdy stem, Calla Lily 'Captain Romance' will give a little pizzazz to a bed of mixed pastel calla cilies, or create a loving atmosphere on its own. It also would provide a stunning arrangement in a vase.
