Caladium
'Pink Beauty'
angel wings
With its whimsical display of delicate heart-shaped leaves, Caladium 'Pink Beauty' is sure to be the new object of your affections. The myriad of watermelon-pink hues, defined with intricate fuchsia veining, sweet blushes of strawberry-coloured speckles and blotchy green freckles, it’s quite the cocktail of colour. The curiously-shaped, knobbly bulbs of Caladium 'Pink Beauty' have multiple growing points, meaning each bulb will produce a mass of luscious leaves over the season, unfurling into a plant with a fulsome habit. Caladiums have enjoyed a boom in popularity recently, becoming a favourite of houseplant enthusiasts everywhere. But they don’t have to be confined to indoors—once the weather’s warm enough in summer they can be transferred into the garden where they’ll bring lush colour to shaded spaces!
Caladium 'Pink Beauty' looks enticing either planted singly in a decorative pot or grouped together with complementing Caladium companions. Favouring indirect light, they can be grown indoors throughout the season where they can illuminate a north or east facing room with their vibrancy and verve. If you want Caladium 'Pink Beauty' to brighten up the garden, transfer them to the garden from around late May/June after getting them started indoors in spring. Choose a shady, sheltered corner where they won’t be scorched by the sun’s rays or buffeted by strong winds and you will be richly rewarded with a spectacle of long-lasting leafy beauty!
Our Caladium 'Pink Beauty' bulbs are cultivated in Florida, USA
