Caladium

'Freida Hemple'

angel wings

Time to roll out the red carpet - this exotic creature will certainly arrive in style in your summer garden. Caladium 'Freida Hemple's leaves unfurl to reveal a deep, velvety crimson centre with an elegant green margin – surely making this one of the most stylish Caladium varieties. As well as rich colours, the leaves feature a luxuriously lustrous sheen, creating a textured effect that’ll make you want to reach out and touch!

Planted out when the soil is warm, Caladium 'Freida Hemple'’ will form a sumptuous clump of leaves during the summer months, provided it has all the moisture it needs. Another tip - in really dry weather, like most Caladiums, this flashy diva will even appreciate a spritz of water over the leaves to keep her humidity nice and high!
