Caladium
'Florida Moonlight'
angel wings
With its shining white, translucent leaves, Caladium 'Florida Moonlight' really will light up the dark corners of your garden like some celestial body that’s escaped from the heavens. Drawing closer, you’ll see that each leaf is framed with most delicate of pale green margins, highlighting the elegant heart-shaped foliage that makes this variety an architectural sensation, too. Even a single plant will make a dramatic impact against the backdrop of a summer border; and planted en masse this luminous white beauty will create a breathtaking snowdrift effect.
Caladiums just love low-light conditions, so plant this rare beauty in any shady position, then sit back enjoy its ethereal glow on balmy summer evenings. The pure white foliage also makes Caladium 'Florida Moonlight' the perfect planting partner for the jet-black leaves of Colocasia 'Black Magic'. These two tropical treats love similar conditions, and planted together will create a striking monochrome scheme that will be sure to draw compliments on your garden design skills! Caladiums make perfect houseplants, too – so if stylish interiors are your thing, 'Florida Moonlight' will be an essential addition to your luxe look.
