Caladium

'Festivia'

angel wings

When it comes to caladiums, this party animal wants to paint the town red! There’s no contrast more festive than red and green, and Caladium 'Festivia' has it all. The pillar-box red leaves streaked with networks of bright green veins is a contrast so intense that it’s hard to focus on, and that’s what makes this the perfect jazzy number to dash some colour into a shaded part of the summer garden or as a focal point in a minimalistic interior.

Caladium 'Festivia' is tropical variety and likes to be warm and sung with you indoors during spring, like all caladiums it can be slow to start, but once it gets going it pops out some serious foliage until it becomes a full-on luscious leafy delight. Pot up your bulbs indoors in spring, once it’s sprouted you can continue to enjoy it indoors over summer as a house plant, or move it outside where it’ll work well as a bedding plant. Angel Wings are deciduous perennials for summer interest, in autumn they will naturally die back.

Our Caladium bulbs are cultivated in Florida, USA
