Caladium
'Cherry Tart'
angel wings
Caladium 'Cherry Tart' is a striking, jewel-toned delight that brings a splash of bold colour to any shady corner or container. Its glossy red leaves are framed with a deep green border, giving Caladium 'Cherry Tart' a dramatic, almost edible appeal reminiscent of a freshly baked fruit tart. The rosettes form a sculptural, layered display that catches the eye and adds a sense of structure and vibrancy to borders, patio pots, or indoor tropical arrangements. With its vivid palette, Caladium 'Cherry Tart' instantly injects energy and flair, making it a standout choice for gardeners seeking a playful yet elegant focal point.
Beyond its flamboyant foliage, Caladium 'Cherry Tart' thrives in well-draining, moist soil and prefers partial to full shade, making it a low-maintenance way to brighten up darker spots in the garden. Its bold red leaves contrast beautifully with green companions, adding depth and drama to any planting scheme. The dark green edging highlights each leaf, ensuring that Caladium 'Cherry Tart' is always looking polished and purposeful. Whether grown en masse or featured in a mixed container, Caladium 'Cherry Tart' delivers a seasonal punch of colour, texture, and style, proving that even the simplest of garden corners can benefit from a touch of tropical sophistication.
