Caladium
'Buck'
angel wings
If you’re looking for a plant to fit into a jungle theme, you’ll find that Caladium 'Buck' is bang on the money. This foliage plant is undeniably lush and vibrantly flaunts the spirited Caladium colours of scarlet and zesty lime green in every heart-shaped leaf. Whether you keep this tropical treasure as a houseplant or transfer it to the garden for summer, let a little filtered light catch those tissue-thin leaves and enjoy as they illuminate in their renowned and endlessly fascinating, semi-translucent way.
Grow Caladium 'Buck' and we’re sure you’ll be besotted with its loveable leaves. The crimson centre and bright green edge means this plant contrasts with itself, bringing an exotic vibe to any indoor garden or secluded corner of the summer garden. Caladiums can be strong growers in cool climates but must be started indoors in the warm in spring. If you decide to transfer Caladium 'Buck' outside for summer, give it a shady spot with rich, loose soil which doesn’t completely dry out. Each bulb produces multiple growing points, each unfurling a set of leaves which forms a neat and compact bushy habit.
Our Caladium 'Buck' bulbs are cultivated in Florida, USA
