Description
Aster 'Herbstgruss vom Bresserhof', commonly known as Michaelmas daisy, is a charming way to extend colour in UK gardens well into autumn. This variety produces large, single daisy-like blooms in a soft yet vibrant pink, standing tall above rich green foliage. Aster 'Herbstgruss vom Bresserhof' (syn. Symphyotrichum 'Herbstgruss vom Bresserhof') brings a cheerful and airy feel to borders, cottage gardens, or meadow-style plantings, with its delicate petals seeming to dance in the breeze. The flowers provide a much-needed late-season nectar source for bees and butterflies, making Aster 'Herbstgruss vom Bresserhof' both decorative and wildlife-friendly.
Thriving in well-drained soil and full sun to partial shade, Aster novi-belgii 'Herbstgruss vom Bresserhof' forms neat, upright clumps that are easy to combine with other late-flowering perennials or grasses. Its long-lasting blooms ensure that Aster 'Herbstgruss vom Bresserhof' remains a standout feature while other summer favourites fade, adding structure and colour to autumn borders. Ideal for group plantings or mixed beds, this pink Michaelmas daisy delivers a soft pink pop that complements the mellow tones of the season. With its dependable flowering period and graceful daisy-like blooms, Aster 'Herbstgruss vom Bresserhof' is a delightful addition to UK gardens, providing autumn cheer and subtle elegance where it’s needed most.
