Description
Also known as “Poppy Anemones”, Anenome 'Sylphide' offers you a cup of brightest deep pink petals highlighted by a whorl of bright purple stamen at the centre of each perfectly shaped bloom. It’s hard to believe that anything so delicate looking can be so tough, but Anenome 'Sylphide' doesn’t need pampering to settle down in your garden. What’s more, the cut blooms last well in the vase, so you’ll have a supply of cut flowers every year. Don’t worry about the odd shape of the bulbs, plant them on their sides if you aren’t sure which way up they should go. If you’d like to give them a head start, soak the bulbs in water overnight before planting.
