Description
Anemone 'Serenade' is a true showstopper, with its semi-double, deep lavender-pink flowers that create a striking contrast against its fresh, green foliage. These elegant blooms, featuring a cheerful yellow central boss of stamens, are perfect for adding a splash of colour to late summer and autumn gardens. Whether you’re looking to brighten up a border or create a soft, romantic touch in a woodland garden, Japanese Anemone 'Serenade' will serenade you with its beauty. This variety’s graceful appearance makes it a natural for mixed plantings or cutting gardens, offering both elegance and substance.
What makes Anemone 'Serenade' particularly special is its long flowering period, extending well into the cooler months when many other plants have already started to fade. Its rich lavender-pink flowers stand out beautifully, particularly when planted against darker foliage or in a contrasting garden scheme. Easy to grow in well-drained soil and a partially shaded spot, Anemone × hybrida 'Serenade' is a reliable perennial that brings a touch of sophistication with minimal effort. If you’re after a charming, hardy variety to add late-season colour to your garden, Anemone 'Serenade' is the perfect choice to create a stunning autumnal display.
Our Anemone 'Serenade' plants are supplied as a root ball with healthy growth, ensuring a strong start. They are carefully shipped in our unique cardboard box, designed to keep them safe and in top condition. This ensures they arrive healthy and ready to thrive in their new home.

Useful information
-
Soak your Anemone 'Serenade' roots in water for 3-6 hours prior to planting.
Plant your "Japanese windflower" bare roots into temporary pots with a multipurpose compost in spring and grow-on in a sheltered spot outdoors.
Choose a pot which comfortably fits the bare roots. Some have a noticeable crown which should be just below the soil surface with any top growth exposed.
Plant out into borders or permanent containers in late spring or early summer once in full growth. Choose a position in sun or shade depending on the variety.
