Choose a sturdy pot with drainage holes, allowing around 3cm between the bulb and the pot’s edge.
'Aquaro'
syn. Hippeastrum 'Aquaro'
Amaryllis 'Aquaro' is nothing short of a floral flourish—big, bold and unapologetically glamorous. This double variety bursts onto the scene with plush, creamy petals that gradually brighten to a crisp white, each one beautifully etched with raspberry-pink striations. The result? A bloom that looks like it’s been hand-painted for maximum effect. With layers upon layers of ruffled petals, Amaryllis 'Aquaro' doesn’t just bloom, it performs—with all the confidence of a star stepping into the spotlight.
Easy to grow and eager to impress, Amaryllis 'Aquaro' makes a stunning indoor centrepiece during the darker months. Whether on a windowsill or gracing the dining table, its elegant colour shifts and generous form offer a fresh take on winter flowering. Just give it a warm spot, a little water, and a touch of patience, and you’ll be rewarded with a truly theatrical show. For those who enjoy their flowers with a bit of drama and a lot of beauty, Amaryllis 'Aquaro' is the perfect choice—refined, radiant, and just the right amount of extravagant.

Use peat-free multipurpose compost and position the bulb with its pointed end upwards. Leave the neck and upper third of the bulb above the compost.
Place the pot indoors in a warm, bright position away from direct heat. Turn it regularly as the stem grows to keep it straight.
Water lightly after planting, then sparingly until growth appears. Increase watering as the plant develops, keeping the compost lightly moist but never waterlogged.
Remove faded flowers, but retain the flower stalk until it yellows. Continue watering and feeding while the leaves remain green to replenish the bulb.
