Description
If you're game for creating an amazing allium display, you'll hit the jackpot with Allium 'Lucky Balloons'. Unlike most alliums, one bulb produces multiple stems which are each topped with a large globe flowerhead—the overall effect is every bit as joyous as a bunch of balloons! You'll be feeling fortuitous indeed when these beauties burst into bloom in late spring and, with incredibly nectar-rich blooms, the bees will be delighted, too.
You can create an effortlessly impressive display in borders or large pots with Allium 'Lucky Balloons' They’re sturdy in habit and generous in terms of flower size and number of stems. Typical of most alliums, they're fully hardy, reliable and require very little of your input once planted. Use Allium 'Lucky Balloons' to elevate a display combined with lower-growing late spring/early summer plants, ornamental grasses or as a partner with contrasting alliums, such as Allium cristophii or Allium 'Mount Everest'.
