Cute, compact stems coupled with big blooms and early flowering characterise the Gregii Tulips. It’s actually slightly surprising to see such big blooms atop the short stems! Ideal for smaller gardens and container gardening, the Gregii Tulips bloom after Kauffmanianas, Botanicals and Fosterianas, but before all the other Tulip categories. They’re closely related to their Turkish ancestors, but feature the improvements that plant breeders have fostered: bigger blooms and a wider range of colours. The range includes some rally attractive shades and colour combinations, and is sure to add distinction to any spring garden or container planting. PS: Have you tried bulb lasagne plantings? This would make a great early flowering component for the top layer of early bloomers.
