These small Dahlias seldom grow to more than 45 cm or 18 inch tall, and are perfect for containers, bedding edges and borders. Dwarf Bedding Dahlias are fast-growers and will give you a wonderful show of bright colour in any of these roles. Different varieties grouped together in pots or planted on a slight slope at the edge of a bed, would make for a very colourful, summery look. Dwarf Bedding Dahlias are unlikely to need staking because of their limited size. Like most dahlias, the dwarf bedding varieties like a home in the full sun and with well-drained soil. Dwarf Bedding Dahlias will bloom abundantly from midsummer through to the middle of autumn, provided the first frost doesn’t arrive too soon.
