Immerse yourself in a tide of totally tropical tones with this splashy mango-yellow tulip. A twist of exotic colour is just what that garden needs to turn up the colour volume in time for summer, and Tulip ‘Tropical Wave’ does it so brilliantly. With this remarkable tulip, you’ll get two refreshing colour crushes in one. Emerging first of all with a closed bloom of zesty lemon and lime outer petals, before unfurling into a fully double cone-shaped flower of tightly-packed petals which resemble a lovely fruity sorbet!

Despite its exotic looks, the beautiful and unusual Tulip ‘Tropical Wave’ is fully hardy and will bring a surge of colour to beds, borders and pots during spring whatever the weather. Opening slowly, the blooms provide a fantastically long season of interest and look truly outstanding in the garden as well as a vase. Its sturdy, compact habit makes it a particularly great choice for growing in patio pots where the flowers can be marvelled at close up. Alternatively, plant it in groups or swathes in borders to create a striking crest of gold in mixed planting schemes.
