Description
Echinacea 'Tweety' is the cheerful little coneflower that your garden didn’t know it was missing. Growing to a compact height of just 20-30cm, this variety brings a burst of golden-yellow flowers that seem to brighten up the day, with a light brown cone sitting proudly at the centre. Echinacea 'Tweety' is perfect for those who want the classic beauty of a coneflower without the towering height. Its petite size makes it ideal for smaller spaces or as part of a well-mixed border, while its vibrant blooms provide a cheerful contrast against surrounding greenery.
What really sets Echinacea purpurea 'Tweety' apart is its long flowering period, extending from summer right through to autumn, ensuring a lasting display of colour. These hardy, easy-to-grow plants thrive in well-drained soil and sunny spots, making them a low-maintenance delight for any garden. The golden-yellow flowers of Echinacea 'Tweety' are not only visually stunning but also attract pollinators like bees and butterflies, making it a great choice for wildlife-friendly gardens. Whether planted in pots, borders, or as a ground cover, Echinacea 'Tweety' is sure to keep your garden looking vibrant and full of life well into the cooler months. A compact beauty that keeps giving—what’s not to love?

Useful information
-
Soak your Echinacea 'Tweety' roots in water for 3-6 hours prior to planting.
Plant your "Coneflower" bare roots into temporary pots with a multipurpose compost in spring and grow-on in a sheltered spot outdoors.
Choose a pot which comfortably fits the bare roots. Some have a noticeable crown which should be just below the soil surface with any top growth exposed.
Plant out into borders or permanent containers in late spring or early summer once in full growth. Choose a position in sun or shade depending on the variety.
