Description

What a beautiful yet subtle flower this is. Rarely seen for sale, OnTop® Begonia 'Pink Halo' is a stunning, double, upward-facing tuberous begonia with large, pale pink flowers. The petal edges are a shade of deep pink/magenta. Many of the blooms may be as much as 12.5cm across. This speciality tuberous begonia performs at its best, with its beautiful blooms coming all summer long, when grown in a patio container, windowbox or hanging basket. It is easy to grow and care for, and simplicity itself to keep the flowers coming!

⚠️ Please note:  OnTop® begonias grow from relatively small tubers, but these special varieties produce some of the most spectacular blooms. Don't be alarmed if the bulbs appear smaller than you expect from us good things come in small packages!

OnTop® Begonias are free-flowering, with a better branching and mounding habit, early flowering, compact, heat tolerant, and with an exceptionally long blooming period. Along with others in the OnTop® and AmeriHybrid® strains, Begonia × tuberhybrida 'OnTop® Pink Halo' grows best in fertile, moist soil in either partial or full shade. The more you feed it from June to September, the more flowers and the more colour it will give you.
