Description
Glowing with all the bright hues of a spectacular desert sunset, Dahlia 'Rawhide' will light up your borders with a rich display of late summer colour. Fading from yellow to peach to pink, each petal is precisely defined with a delicate margin of red, giving an overall effect that’s more striking than saccharine. The undersides of the petals and the emerging buds are a bold shade of red too, creating an artful, dramatic contrast that sets this variety apart from the competition.
Dahlia 'Rawhide' features broad ray florets and shallow blooms typical of a Waterlily Dahlia. This group tend to have tough stems and are less top heavy than their dinnerplate cousins, meaning they’re a bit more resistant to damage from summer rainstorms, and are less likely to need staking. Tolerant of a wide range of soils—as long as it has fertile and well drained growing site, with plenty of sunshine throughout the day, you'll find this variety gives plenty of bang for your buck!
