Description

Bluebells are a true joy of spring, and this pretty pink variety is bound to make you smile. Providing masses of colour and flowering with true elegance every spring, Hyacinthoides hispanica ‘Queen of Pinks’ really is bluebell royalty. If you have a large space to fill, this vigorous pink Spanish Bluebell (possibly more aptly named ‘Pinkbell’) is a great naturaliser and will be just the ticket. Plant the hyacinthoides bulbs in autumn and you’ll be in for a lovely treat for many years to come, with lush strap-like foliage and multiple flowering stems eventually carpeting a spacious area with its delicate pastel-pink blooms.

Hyacinthoides hispanica ‘Queen of Pinks’ loves shade so it’s perfect for providing a soft wave of colour in a tricky spot, such as under a tree or in the depths of a shrubbery. It also looks lovely in pots and makes a brilliant cut flower. With excellent vigour and strong naturalising capabilities, you won’t be short of stems to display in pretty spring posies!

* To avoid cross-hybridisation with native English bluebells in the UK, this variety is best grown in enclosed gardens or areas away from British woodland and countryside where it may be become invasive.
