Description

At absolutely stunning bloom, bearded Iris germanica 'Dante’s Inferno' makes an extremely fiery display of colour when it flowers in mid to late spring and reblooms towards the end of the summer. Ruffled deep orange standards seem to curl like blazing flames over and around one another, while deep maroon beards support the inferno going on above. Tantalizing touches of maroon vein the standards and, in exchange, some of Iris germanica 'Dante’s Inferno's orange stipples the falls and lines their edges to keep the fire alight!

Gracy's says
"This spectacular fireball hovers above long narrow pale green-blue leaves. A few planted together would really set your garden on fire."
