Description
The tremendous new Tulip 'Vanilla Coup' boasts large 12cm wide double flowers, in a gorgeous colour combination of bright-yellow inner petals, cupped and overlapped by striking, fresh green outer petals. These colours – which of course are the epitome of spring—come in layers, making this an absolute showstopper.
The blooms sit atop strong stems 45-55cm long. Grow this tulip in beds or borders, but if you grow it in a patio container near to a seating area, you will be able to enjoy the stunning flowers at close range. The blooms come over several weeks in April and May. Don’t forget, too, that Tulip 'Vanilla Coup' makes an amazing cut flower, giving a striking look to both single-variety arrangements or mixed bouquets.
Tulip 'Vanilla Coup', which is in tulip Division 11, known as the Double Late Group, is an outstanding new addition to the ice-cream tulip family—Farmer Gracy also offers 'Ice Cream', 'Ice Cream Banana', 'Gelato' and 'Sorbetto' (a mix of varieties)!
